AAP Privacy Policy

The Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis (AAP), incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1995 as a 501-3C non-profit organization, has an educational purpose and is a member-run organization. As a non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation, the AAP is exempt from paying Federal Income tax.

We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and have written the following privacy notice to explain what information we collect and what we do with it.

We are a diverse, worldwide community – of psychosynthesis therapists, coaches and educators; systems thinkers; and transpersonal practitioners – united in the vision and practice of what founder, Roberto Assagioli called “an integral vision” for humanity.

From you being a participant in one of our events, webinars, workshops, meditation circles, and other offerings made available either directly on our website or through our internal community. Data is initially collected from your associated organization. Data may also be collected from you before, during, or after a solution related to providing the contracted solution or collecting evaluation data about the solution.

Membership:

From you signing up to be a member at AAP. We have several membership categories, some of which are for external display in the Practitioner Directory. You have the ability to choose if you would like to display your profile online on the AAP Practitioner Directory. It is also your responsibility to ensure that all data and information you provide are accurate and up to date.

Any information you give us should be accurate, and if you are supplying anyone else’s data, you must ensure that you have the authority and legal basis to do so.

How is your personal information used?

Purpose:

Communicating with you as a member or potential member of AAP about new events, workshops, webinars and ongoing updates on AAP activities.

Performing financial tasks, such as raising and sending invoices.

Communicating with you whilst we provide services to you as a AAP member.

Communicating with you with regards to an event you have applied to attend or have attended (e.g. sending you logistical information about the event or sending you related follow-up content). This includes pre and post-event follow-ups and any commitments we may have made during the event.

Sending you newsletters and other relevant content regarding our services via email if you have signed up for our mailing list.

Communicating with you on LinkedIn, for example, sharing relevant content or inviting you to Psychosynthesis events.

Communicating with you regarding any previously agreed research activity, such as the commission of a new coaching or supervision cohort.

Enabling you to participate in surveys.

Communicating with you with regard to an enquiry you submitted through the website.

Growing our business and informing our membership of value-added services and educational content such as the quarterly publications.
