Psychosynthesis Roots and the Magic of New Beginnings
Hello Everyone, we have just issued the Call for Contributions to the AAP Quarterly on the theme of Psychosynthesis Roots and the Magic of New Beginnings. The deadline is 11th January, 2026 but please send submissions as soon as they are ready so we can get started reading and editing before the deadline.
We are delighted to welcome Anastasia Wasko as Guest Editor for the upcoming issue, which will explore the contemporary relevance of Psychosynthesis and its potential for transformation and change, both at an individual and societal level. We invite readers to submit articles and creative content on how the work of Roberto Assagioli is being used in a modern context.
Please send submissions to: newsletter@aap-psychosynthesis.org. We prefer that you use the APA style guide when possible, for things like punctuation and references.
We are interested in the current application of Psychosynthesis in the fields of therapy, counselling, coaching, education and creative work. We want to recognize and honour its deep roots in psycho-spiritual philosophies from both east and west, as well as its potential to interface and integrate with new cutting-edge research in disciplines such as neuroscience.
We are also aiming to re-envision and transform the Quarterly itself, and to develop it as a forum for the latest research on Psychosynthesis. As usual, we welcome articles of up to around 1500 words, as well as interviews, poems, stories, artwork, photos and work in other media.
With the launch of the Psychosynthesis Community on Mighty Networks, we are aiming to use this platform and our website more flexibly and to encourage discussion of the various contributions. As well as including selected pieces in the quarterly PDF newsletter, we will also post some of the content on Mighty Networks with a view to creating an ongoing dialogue around key topics that are of interest to AAP members.
If you need any further guidance on the topic or submission guidelines do please get in touch. Thank you so much!
