Participant refunds can happen on two accounts

Participant Refunds

A participant can request a refund:

  • More than 7 days before the Event: 100% refund (minus processing fees).
  • Within 7 days: No refund unless exceptional circumstances apply.
  • No reasons are necessary to be provided. AAP may want to ask for the reason for the refund as part of feedback. This is optional for the participant to respond to.

Event Cancellation Refunds

  • 100% refunds are issued to the Participant if the Event is canceled by AAP or the Partner.
  • If the Partner cancels after promotion has begun, AAP will retain promotional fees.
  • Any balance of deficit in payment/refund to participants has to be borne by AAP if the event is canceled by AAP.
  • Any balance of deficit in payment/refund to participants has to be borne by the Partner if the event is canceled by the Partner.
