Following publication of the latest AAP quarterly journal in January, guest editors Cliff Ishigaki and Richard Lamb will host a webinar on the theme of Healing and Consciousness on 9th February, 2025.

The webinar will use the image of the sacred "Tree of Life" (featured on the cover of the latest quarterly) as inspiration for an open discussion for Healing and Consciousness.

“The symbol of the sacred tree known across many cultures is an apt symbol for this edition on healing and Consciousness”, according to Cliff Ishigaki.

  • The roots, which symbolize our need for safety and belonging in our ‘dependent’ needs, is nature’s gift as well as our woundedness.
  • The trunk, that represents our personal self’s development and the emergence of a coordinating center, is a necessity, as the roots are to a healthy tree.
  • The branches and leaves that bring invisible energy into the tree’s life is reflective of Transpersonal consciousness

This domain, where the invisible is approachable and not a means to escape the earthy roots nor the necessity of an identity, becomes the source energy for being the ‘soul infused personality’ that Assagioli understood as our possibility.

The webinar hosts will offer a guided imagery exercise to explore this symbolism. The group will be asked to manifest the image of a tree that comes to them, and then using the observer within, to observe the roots, trunk and branches of their tree; noting what part(s) of the tree need care and skill in creating optimum health.

Attendees will be encouraged to share their experiences of this visualization with each other in breakout rooms, and after this there will be an open discussion of what has emerged.

Registration is FREE to members,

Non members are requested to make a small donation.

Registration closes Sunday, 9th February

A little context:

Like it or not, everyone is a part of the universal will and we must somehow tune in

and willingly participate in the rhythms of universal life. Roberto Assagioli

The world is facing significant changes, and we stand at a threshold. The time is now to move beyond the familiar patterns and silos of our thinking, training and disciplines. As interpersonal neurobiologist, Dan Siegel, speaking at Garrison in 2011, put it: “as long as self is defined as a singular noun, the planet is cooked”.
Since then, this limited definition has proved to be an unhelpful driver in multiple spheres – a phenomenon that reminds us of the deep interconnections between perception, meaning, consciousness and will, and the vital power of presence and community.
In this moment, we are called to remember our deep belonging—to each other, to the Earth, to the Great Mystery of life. It is essential that we come together to forge pathways of resilience, courage, and kinship; to explore soulful ways to navigate these uncertain times, weaving creativity, wisdom and will from our shared vision of a more connected and whole world.
Join us! as we gather at the Garrison Institute in the spirit of synthesis to ignite our passions, inspire new dreams and build community for 2025 and beyond! This event is more than a conference, it's an immersive and experiential gathering to tap into the deep, transformative work of Psychosynthesis and related disciplines.

    • Festival, Arts, Music, Ceremony, and Nature related activities
