For Psychosynthesis Day, we are hosting The Psychosynthesis Challenge: PS Changing Lives

The Association for the Advancement of Psychosynthesis invites all members and guests around the world to join us for an hour in order to kickstart our campaign to share PS with the world. We will have a guided visualization and group writing/discussion, followed with a call to action to contribute to this PS challenge.

Who will be hosting/guiding: Members of the AAP Steering Committee will be guiding us through this event, including Kevin Harrington, Mark Skelding and Christina Gustafson.

Outline agenda:

10 minutes -- Intro and Guided visualization:

How has PS helped you (or your clients) in Life and / or Work

"I’m imagining sitting on a hillside overlooking the meadow, where the impacts and effects of PS that you’ve witnessed are all playing out below you – choose the one that most represents the value and possibilities of PS, the one that excites/inspires you the most – connect in with how PS informed this experience, about the tangible effects the work of PS had on influencing the situation etc. (there’s room for more here, but this is the essence)"

5-10 minutes -- Writing

list / draw / bullet-point-out about the visualization

prepare for how to engage in the PS challenge to share with the world in some way about PS or how PS has changed your life

15 minutes -- Group discussion

breakout rooms for attendees to share and discuss (distilling the highlights of the visualization)

10 minutes to share with the group – each person voices their sentence

5-10 minutes -- Call to Action

Now that you have your story of PS Changing lives, the challenge is to share it on your social media platform or in an email to someone (perhaps one of your clients, a colleague or friend), or in any other way that is meaningful to you.

A little context:

Like it or not, everyone is a part of the universal will and we must somehow tune in

and willingly participate in the rhythms of universal life. Roberto Assagioli

The world is facing significant changes, and we stand at a threshold. The time is now to move beyond the familiar patterns and silos of our thinking, training and disciplines. As interpersonal neurobiologist, Dan Siegel, speaking at Garrison in 2011, put it: “as long as self is defined as a singular noun, the planet is cooked”.
Since then, this limited definition has proved to be an unhelpful driver in multiple spheres – a phenomenon that reminds us of the deep interconnections between perception, meaning, consciousness and will, and the vital power of presence and community.
In this moment, we are called to remember our deep belonging—to each other, to the Earth, to the Great Mystery of life. It is essential that we come together to forge pathways of resilience, courage, and kinship; to explore soulful ways to navigate these uncertain times, weaving creativity, wisdom and will from our shared vision of a more connected and whole world.
Join us! as we gather at the Garrison Institute in the spirit of synthesis to ignite our passions, inspire new dreams and build community for 2025 and beyond! This event is more than a conference, it's an immersive and experiential gathering to tap into the deep, transformative work of Psychosynthesis and related disciplines.

Featured Presenters & Invited Guests

Anne and Tom Yeomans - Valerie Silidker - Didi Firman - Jon Schottland - Amy Spalding-Fecher – Molly Young Brown and many others!

  • This Summit is designed to identify and address essential questions:

    • What is being asked of us now, at this critical time, both individually and collectively?

    • What does the future hold, and how can we help shape it?

    • What new collaborations may be required in these times, and how do we best support these?

    You Will Experience:

    • International Presenters & Experiential Workshops

    • Psychosynthesis Street Fair, Dialogue Groups & Conversation Circles

    • Festival, Arts, Music, Ceremony, and Nature related activities

Along with keynote speakers, panel discussions and experiential workshops for the summit, there will be a range of creative events and activities in and around the Garrison retreat center and its beautiful grounds. There will be plenty of time to deepen ties with Psychosynthesis friends and colleagues from around the world.

"Out of the past, in the present, for the future" - Roberto Assagioli
