A New Book: Sharing Wellness: Psychosynthesis Wisdom from Another Generation

  • Sunday, February 16, 2020
  • 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
  • Greenfield, MA

with Anne Yeomans, Tom Yeomans, and Jan Kuniholm.

In this program, Anne, Tom and Jan will introduce  the recently published book, Sharing Wellness: Psychosynthesis for Helping People.  This book is a remarkable compilation of some of the best essays and articles about psychosynthesis theory and practice from the eighties. The articles range over a wide spectrum of application from person to planet, and are still relevant today. Articles by both Tom and Anne are included in this collection.

The afternoon will start with Tom and Jan talking about the genesis and creation of the book.  Then Tom and Anne will talk about some of the other authors, and describe the times in which the original work took place. And finally Anne and Jan will lead the group in two experiential exercises derived from the book. There will be ample time for dialogue, and responses.

The book will be available for sale for $25.00 per copy with $10 of the sale proceeds being donated to PsNE.  It is also available through Amazon, or directly from Jan Kuniholm.

Anne Yeomans has been a psychosynthesis therapist for many years.  She recently closed her therapy practice and is in the process of remaking herself as a mentor, supervisor and a teacher.  She will offer three circle/workshops for women this spring in Greenfield, MA, titled Our Time: What is Being Asked of Us Now? Anne is also a social activist and a poet.

Thomas Yeomans, Ph.D. has worked in Psychosynthesis since the early 70’s. He studied with Roberto Assagioli and for the last five decades has been a therapist, trainer of professionals, and consultant throughout North America, and in Europe and Russia. He is currently finishing a book entitled Holy Fire: the Process of Soul Awakening and works as a mentor/guide in a private practice in Shelburne Falls, MA.

Jan Kuniholm is a writer and philosopher who lives in Cheshire, MA. He was founding editor of Psychosynthesis Quarterly  and author of The Gospel Within Us. He is currently working on a new book of essays written by well-known contemporary psychosynthesis teachers in North America and Europe, including some newly discovered material by Roberto Assagioli which will appear for the first time in English—to be published later this year.
